
Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine.
They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children,

Training women to pursue Biblical womanhood by studying God’s Word, encouraging women to grow in their relationship with God and one another, and serving the church and community with the love of Christ.



There are lots of ways to participate in Women's Ministry at RiverWind!

Women's Bible Study
Lead: Jodie Coher
Women’s Bible Study meets Monday nights during the school year at 6:30 pm at the church. A rotation of women lead a formal Bible study. The main focus is studying God’s Word and growing in faith.

Play & Pray
Lead: Anna Blalock
Play & Pray meets Friday mornings during the school year from 9-11 am at Anna’s home. This is an informal meeting of women and kiddos who pray for one another and discuss a Biblical podcast. The main focus is discipleship, prayer, and applying Biblical womanhood to our lives.

Women's Fellowship Dinners
Lead: Anna Blalock
Women’s Fellowship Dinners take place one evening a month during the summer (June, July, and August). These are informal gatherings. Ladies pitch in pot-luck style and enjoy dinner and a light devotional together. The main focus is fellowship and to continue meeting over the summer when other ministries are taking a break.

Women's Breakfast
Lead: Martha Puryear
A yearly Women’s Breakfast will take place in the spring on a Saturday morning at the church. The women’s leadership team will provide all of the food and a light devotional will be shared.
